Portugal joins Red Lines

On the day the UK exited the EU, Portugal became the tenth country to join Evan Roth's Red Lines network. The new network-located videos show coastal sites in Lisbon and Porto where cables that carry the internet emerge from the Atlantic Ocean.

To coincide with the new videos, Red Lines is being exhibited in Portugal alongside 19th century landscape paintings selected by Evan Roth and curated by Delfim Sardo.

Evan Roth's Red Lines with Landscapes: Portugal, is open in Lisbon at Galeria Fidelidade Arte from 31 January – 22 May 2020. The exhibition will be open at Culturgest, Porto from 6 June – 6 September 2020.
